From my hook to yours

Hi! I’m Madeline, the designer behind Madeline Mae Co and crochet completely changed my life. I didn’t grow up expecting to own a business. Life wasn’t always easy and I spent much of my childhood in foster care. Creating has always been my escape and when I picked up a crochet hook I found something that gave me peace, purpose, and eventually a career. What started as a hobby turned into a passion and that passion slowly grew into a business that’s now supported by an incredible community of crocheters from all over the world. Today, I get to spend my days designing crochet patterns, helping others create handmade gifts, and doing something I genuinely love. I’m also a mom and my family is the reason I work so hard. Behind every pattern release are late nights, many cups of coffee, lots of yarn, and plenty of trial and error to make sure each design is something I’m proud to share. Every pattern is carefully designed, tested, and written with love before it reaches your hands. One of the best parts of this journey has been the community. Seeing your finished projects, reading your messages, and watching your creativity bring my designs to life means more to me than I could ever put into words.
